Northstar Technical Inc. (NTI) is a high technology development and manufacturing company with two main business activities, underwater wireless communications and advanced electronic contract manufacturing.

NTI has developed a core technology for underwater wireless communications that has applications in the fishery, offshore oil and gas, defence, marine transportation, oceanographic and environmental industries. Its AQUACOMM project will develop new leading edge subsea technologies such as spread spectrum communications, non-contact battery charging, modular sonar with ADCP capability, and advanced battery technology and power management.

The Contract Manufacturing Division focuses primarily on manufacturing for the defence, transportation and communications industries. Highly trained and technical staff manufacture sophisticated and highly technical engineering systems for major corporations and defence contractors.
